Fly-fishing along the shoreline near the dam.

The trout seemed to prefer smaller nymphs instead of the usual small streamers. The weather was very warm for that area ? almost 80 and windy which are not good conditions for fly-fishing.

Interestingly, I hooked a few larger trout, one decent sized Rainbow that torpedoed himself out of the water multiple times. I hooked and lost a mysterious large trout that I think was a Brown based on its fight.

There was a hatch of large midges in the evening and trout were rising quite a bit. I found that the selective midging fish were not interested in the flies I was using. Typical.
