well i took my wife and fished grand lake today. i want to thank anyone that responded to my earlier post about the conditions up there. im happy to say we avoided falling in the open water over by the outlet, but unfortunatley we only iced one brown. and that was the only fish i marked all day. she took some beautiful pictures so she was happy. i just wish the fishing was better there.

I'm also glad to hear you didn't take your wife, or the sled for a swim...She would not have been very happy.

Sounds like it was slow fishing and catching.

Grand lake can be a tough one to figure out. It drops off so quick that you can be out in 150+ ft of water in no time. First time I was there I thought my vexilar was broken. Try over by the inlet for some good action, just be careful of open water at certain times.
