Anybody know how any of the lakes on the mesa are doing? I'm sure most of them are iced up but ice out can be good if you are willing to hike through the snow and get to the back country lakes. Thanks to the suckers and mismanagement, most of the lakes you can drive to aren't that great anymore. Of course, thanks to the drought, many of the lakes that used to have great numbers of small brookies or cutthroats or just a few big cutthroats in it are all dried up. If anybody can name some places to not fish on the mesa that the drought has hurt, do so here.
I'll start: 40 acre lake. (nothing left, drought Saw it last year)
Y and S reservoir (nothing left, drained because of drought. 3 years ago.)
