Terrific trip.......................Grandby at its` best. Typical May bite with trout in a ravenous mood. We stopped `counting`......... if you know what I mean. Mostly bows and cutts with a few token browns all caught on kastys. Found a few lakers in shallow water. Water is down a good 20 to 30 ft with temps in the 41 to 44 degree range. Sunset has a dock in but Arapahoe launch area looks a bit scary. Don`t miss Grandby at this time of year! Good Luck ! Jeff aka `Racer`

Hey Racer,

I am going to Grandby tommorow. Do you have any tips where to go to catch some trout from the shore.

What is a good color Kastmaster to use out there?

Michael, If you can walk into the Columbine Bay area you can`t go wrong. I prefer gold kastys in the 1/8 to 1/4 ounce size. Slow presentation. Inspiration point area is good as well. Good Luck!
