me and my brother left around 530 am met up with ice fisher and his friend doug we got to the lake and we were the only ones there ,headed out to the spot fishing started out slow we caught some lake trout and some kokes here and there but no big schools than around 1100-1230 we were nailing them between the 4 of us we caught 26 kokes and lost a bunch at the hole pink and orange spoons worked the best, the ice was still thick at over 2 feet

Awesome forktails. I'd like to catch some kokes like that. So the ice is still good? Grumpie Gills, Green Mt. on Thursday?

Awsome! It's been several years since I've seen a post with that many GM kokes before the gill lice showed up in 2008. Looks like they are finally recovering. Either that or everyone's been keeping a secret ;)

Can you tell us how far down the kokes were?

the kokes were anywhere from 25-40 down
