had the day off but didn't want to venture too far cause of the storm so i hit up green mountain. walk over to the island area and set up in the 55 to 60 fow.was a little slow to start but it picked up as the morning progressed. nothing big really most were small .course white tubes and glow tubes were the key at least for awhile, then later aggressively jigged spoons did the trick. managed sixteen fish by eleven.so on the way out i tried one more spot by the parking area and landed the smallest laker I've ever seen, i mean this fish couldn't have been four inches the spoon was bigger then he was.!wanted to bring it home and put it in the aquarium but i let him go assured that that feisty guy will someday reach forty inches.
