I am heading up on Thursday wondering if anyone has been up in the last week or so and if so whats the fly of choice. I imagine a scud and a red blood midge should smoke them but i'm always willing to give something else a spin if it works.....

I was suppose to go last weekend but caught my "once every 2 years" cold. bad timing.

Anyways pheasant tails, brassies, red tube midges, amber scuds and tan sowbugs are usually on the list of flies to bring this time of year....maybe some midge dries and wooley buggers, as something different if you get sick of looking at a strike indicator.
