fished Gross yesterday from noon to sundown. Healthy (which is definitely different from the hardwater macks from earlier this winter) colored up macks and an occasional big brown were tearing up the jerkbaits but kept throwing my hooks, I think I was using just a tad too big of a profile for them to really get it in their mouths. Weren't interested in anything other than suspending minnow profiles. Threw everything else at em but nada. As usual the hard part is actually finding the fish. Water level was crazy low but the weather, although forecasted as terrible, was pleasant. As usual I was the only one there.
I fished the narrows, didn't head to the inlet like usual.
