I was almost out the door this morning to hit up Gross until my phone rang and had to cancel due to my girlgriend getting in an accident. It would have been my first time in months to be able to go . My tiger is still lurking in there waiting for me but maybe next week I can go.

Kokaneeking: Were your jigs tipped with anything? How was the wind?

i caught mine with a meal worm , and my brother just caught his on the jig with nothing on it, my brother talked to a guy who said recently he caught a 28 inch laker, he also told us he caught three muskies in his boat during the summer that were over 40 inches and he also said they were released

Good work KK. I fished the same spot the Friday before you did, but that day the wind was blowing easily 40 mph bringing in that snow I see in your pics. It was hard to jig because the waves were coming in on the rocks like 2-3 feet high. Got some bites but never set hook to any. I felt like a was fishing the ocean! You said you caught some cutthroats there. What did you catch those with? Were you tossing spoons or just jigs? I saw the weather report today says lot's of wind in Boulder county again. I'm gonna head up Friday, it should be cleared up then. Let me know if you plan on heading up.
