Has anyone been there recently?

I went only once back in March when it was still too cold. I heard that the water level is up to the trees which might make things harder from shore except the hike. I want to go back and try for them lakers and muskies which I have yet to ever catch.

How do I get to the inlet?

thanks, Aaron

You can hike to the inlet, but it's hard work. Just go in the south entrance, make a left and you'll come to a parking area. Find the inlet path and follow it west over two ridges.

I'm thinking it would be easier to rent or buy a raft.

The hike is not that difficult if you stay on the trail and hike often. towards the end it does get a little more difficult with fishing gear. you have to climb over boulders. at the inlet if you hike up the creek you will pass a cliff on your left. i used to fish from that cliff down to the reservoir. havent fished the inlet in two or three years. soon though. i'd recommend the raft. if you get really bored you could even troll out a little bit from the inlet.
