any one know if harriman has ice on it still? and if i could pay a visit to my old fishing hole? zMAN? trout hunter? any one?

I live in Lakehurst right next to Harriman. There is no ice at this time. Even if there were I don't beleive ice fishing is allowed. Although it would be a great place to ice fish. I've caught some nice fish there in the open water......

ive caught catfish, baby pike on accident, my biggest large mouth and a good sized saugeye. i love that lake i want to go back and get that decent pike ive been trying for before winter set in! i used to live in the neighborhood across the street from walmart over there, but moved. thats the place i met trout hunter and z man at, man i miss fishing with trout hunter.

ps i dont mean ice fishing haha dont have the tools to do that... yet..

i was in the area yesterday (1/29) and half the lake was iced (on the dam side) and unfishable

Mustang is correct...half ice covered...the east end is open...
