So I went down to the local slimmer pond (Lions Park - Rifle, Co) to kill some time this afternoon. And I must say it was some of the funest ice fishing I've ever done! Caught 30+ slimmers in about an hour all on an HD Ice. It was pretty awesome watching them chase that thing around in only 8' of water.

Nice work. I've always wondered about that pond...anything besides slimers?

Yeah, theres gills, crappie, greenies, and some decent LMB's in there. I did snag a carp yesterday, about 10lbs. Had him hooked in the belly and couldn't turn him into the hole.
