that is a beautifull lake i always wanted to house boat there have fun

also near there is a place something like castle rocks monument or something like that never been in to check it out but from the main road with a little imagination it looks like an old castle up on the moutain you might like to check it out when your arms get tired from catching all those fish

found it, it is called castle crags state park and is like 15 miles north of the lake

couple other things that you might want to check out are the Lake Shasta Caverns, LASSEN VOLCANIC NATIONAL PARK, and you used to be able to tour the inside of the shasta dam
