Hi, John! Glad to hear you fish the St Vrains & Left Hand....I hardly ever hear of anyone fishing Left Hand. I do myself, since it is only 10 mins. from my workplace in N. Boulder. I like to fly fish in streams and spin at lakes and ponds. If you see my red welding truck parked above Buckingham Park, look for me in the stream and say hi.

i'm overwelmed with the outpouring of warmth you all have given......yo, amster, i'll keep an eye out. i used to fish left hand and james creek a lot when i lived in james canyon, about 8 years ago. i started fishing lefthand a lot again this year. no more brookies or rainbows, though? used to catch them in there. maybe the drought took em out? caught lots of small browns in there, though, seems like it was possibly heavily stocked w/ browns this year, as 6 to 8 inchers were everywhere.

anyone fish the st. vrains much?

Yeah man, I rock to the fisherman chronicles on my way to go fishing. Primus is definately one of my top 5 favorite bands.

right on, "suck on this" was an amazing record, and i never saw a band put out a live recording as their debut. in 1989 or 1990 they played at CU's UMC bar, then called "quigley's". it was the first time i saw or even heard them. one of my top 5 shows all time. although they are not one of my favorite bands of all time, they definately have a place in my heart. it was a show i will never forget. frizzle fry was a great album, too.

the world of rock needs more fishing songs.

I saw them once in 1993 or 94...It was in Denver, and Les Claypool got mad because everyone was throwing cups up on stage and was hitting him...

you gotta love songs like "puddingtime" or "too many puppies"...what the heck goes through that mans head when he writes his songs lol
