The bottom cap of the reel seat of my sage vantage fly rod came undone. Apparently the glue no longer held. So, I took it off and put some zap a gap on an slid the cap back on. I was only able to get it on halfway and now I cant get it off to retry. Does anyone know how I can get the cap off? I already created an account and set everything up so I can send the rod back in to get it fixed but I really dont want to have to do that. Im really kicking myself for this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found a debond solution for it.

I would imagine it might work? Do you think it would work its way down to loosen the glue within the cap itself? The wood on my reel seat is cracked in several spots so maybe i should just send it in anyways and get it fixed up.

Ya, you know payin for a little more expensive of gear might as well utilize the warranty. Sucks to not have the rod in the mean time tho.
