See if i can explain this for you.
I saw and have tied a few knot by using two overhand knots
1- tie a overhand knot on very end of line
2- wrap line around reel and tie another over hand with line that goes around reel.
3- pull tight and trim.
The 1st overhand should not be able to be pulled threw the 2nd knot. Just be sure to keep a little presure on the 2nd knot when pulling so it does not open up. I think this knot is shown on some of the berkley line boxes.
