Highline for an hour.  Caught two small Crappies.  decided to pick up and head to the Colorado River in Fruita.  Had many light bites.  Caught 2 cats about 5-7 inches.  All and all fishing sucked.  The storm rolled in and didn't get a chance to hit Harvey Gap.  Maybe next time......

None were picture worthy.

I recently hit highline this weekend and landed two channel cats that were 2 and four pounds, and countless little bullheads.
The Colorado River is filled with bullheads and you will catch 10 chubs at least for every catfish. But plenty of BIG channels swim around. We caught five from 2 - 4 pounds last time we fished across from the state park. Chicken Liver is the best catfish bait in both fisheries.

Any day fishing is a good day, any day you catch fish (regardless of size imho) is a great day.
