Hi,

I would strongly advise against going to Hine Lake in Littleton, CO. The water level is incredibly low, which leads to easy snags, which caused me to lose 3 different lures within 2 hours.

No fish are biting, no matter what you use. Especially don't go to the dam, where there are rats and mice picking at all the rusty fishing hooks, stringers, lines, and just plain garbage.

Now I am curious to see how low the water is.

3 lures in 2 hours ain't bad. I'm retying about every 15 minutes fishing the Poudre these days.

From Jeffco: I was told the low water level is due to a falty dam. The engineers determined the dam has some problems so they keep the level low to keep the dam from failing. It appears it will be a couple more years before everything is fixed and the lake level returned to normal.
