what are the best hooks for using cut bait for catfish . my buddys mom works for eagle claw and just gave me a whole box of hooks . everything from plastic worm hooks to circle hooks . all in all i got like 500 hooks for free pretty sweet deal

For catfish I like to usetreble hooks. I have tried all, but sometimes they bite so light than you can hardly tell. But like on another post, by the time you have a bite they have already taken off with your bait and your here it but react to slow. with a treble hook you get three times the chances. Just my opinion.

Number 1 or 2 circle hooks work good on cut bait

eagle claw has some nice hooks
they have a circle sea hook thats real good that i buy

as far as using treble hooks the only time i use them
is when im using stink bait and im planing on keeping everything i hook

im gonna go catch some crawdads tonight and use them .....ive got all kinds of new circle hooks ill have to try them out ...i also have these hooks that look like someone just bend a j hook do you guys know what those are
