Just got back from Horsetooth.  Caught a skinny 17" Walleye and a 14" trout.  Not fast & furious, but better than a stick in the eye (or a hook, for that matter).  Already a bunch of boats out there...

Thanks! Temp was mid-40's. Didn't get out there until about 2:00, so it was strictly afternoon fishing.

We too went to the tooth and all we got was a skunk. Water temp was about 38 @ 7am and around 42 when we left around 3pm.

Glad to see someone got something.

Did you catch that eye off that point by inlet cove???(That look like where that picture was taken?)

Good eye for the landscape! The funny thing is that I'd been dragging cranks and bouncing jigs with crawlers and hadn't had a sniff, so I figured I'd just troll a Croc to see if I could pick up a trout - the walleye hit that... Go Figure!

Not bad for my first time there?

We pulled all sorts of stuff. Cranks, Spoons, Bottom bouncers, Cranks/spoons on lead core etc etc etc. We ran a 4-line spread for awhile to see how we could do with the new boat. No tangles.

Thanks for the report!
