my first real post . fished horsetooth from 5 till 8 from the boat. caught a 17 inch small mouth bass in the first 1o mins. but had no other bites. will probably go back in the morning and try some more.
water temp was 49 degrees.

fished 7:30 to 12:00 and caught 4 more smallies 16, 13,13,10 and 1- 18inch walleye that was kind of skinny . sorry no pictures .

thanks for the updates...and keep posting the reports, its nice to see new ones ;)

Horsetooth sounds like a tough one. Ive never really fished it too much, its kind of intimidating...but hear its a good place for walleye once you figure it out...

are you fishing from a boat or from land? The best luck for keeper 'eyes I've had from a boat was about 20 yards off of goose island at midnight using a blue and silver rapala with rattles very slow and jerk it every once in a while to make some noise.. from land I've always used grubs off points and done ok... pretty fun lake to fish!
