Hi all,

TFB here. Hope you all are doing well! My dad lives near horsetooth reservoir, but hasn't been doing to well. Any tips/advice on any good fish to be caught, lures, etc?

I'm still here in MI. Been nailing the LMB this year in my few opportunities to fish when I'm not busy working.

Thanks,
Torin

First off TFB, why are you not showing us porn from up there? I know you are fishing! The tooth has been a little rough on me this year as well. It is full to the brim and all of the places I normally catch fish are 15-20' deeper this year. I have had to figure it out all over again. That being said, the crank bait bite has finally picked up and we have started to catch some fish. Deep divers in blue/purple have been best followed by yellow perch as a close second. Of course bottom bouncers with harnesses always catch fish but seem to typically be on the smaller side. Your dad can always pitch tubes in the rocks and catch as many undersized smallies as he wants. Hope this helps.
