i went out today from 10 am to 4pm i threw everything i had and finally caught my first fish from horsetooth. a really nice cutbow 20 inchs and fat looks like they are about to spawn?was full of eggs. yes i kept it for filets.i caught it on a lip-less rattle-trap. and wouldn't you know i lost the lure the next cast. nothing else allday i even tried bait and a crawdad tail. no pic sorry but i belive that the trout fishing is on the verge of being real good. oh yea it might have been better but the county was picking up the water markers and it stired every thing up.

at a minimum the cutbows will have a faint redish slash in the throat area and some will look even more like ful cutts quite varyable though
