Spinney Mountain is fishing excellent. The trout have switched over to feeding!!!! I fished up there the last two days and caught 86 trout! Riverbear fished the last three days and caught over 80 also. The Denver Post could never be so wrong. This year has been a stellar year at the ranch!!! The pigs are there and they are starting to show up.  Water temps are reaching 58 to 60 degrees and everything is picking up. For you Fly guys, if you like to catch the calabeatis hatch, right now is the time. Don't miss out!!!! My advise is to drop everything and get up there... if you dare.

Re: HOT! HOT!(pis)

I was hanging out in the local fly/tackle store up there for two days and heard that the spin/trolling fisherman were having good luck with Tazzy's, Kastmasters, and Panther Martins. The colors that seem to work best can change almost dailey. Most recently gold was working best. The Chaparral store can tell you if it has changed at all.
