I will be out on the dam of Chatfield and Cherry Creek alot this spring! Fishing wasn't that bad last year at Chatfield ? Glendo is the lake that has really fallen off!

Alot of big Eye's get caught there that you never hear about! That lake is loaded with big fish just like Cherry Creek. You aren't going to catch them in broad daylight with hundred of water craft tearing up the water.

i've actually caught alot of walleye at chattfield and cherry creek when they are really busy. it seems to fire the walletes up,never caught any big ones though.

ANy one can jig up numbers there during the day, but most of the big girls are nocturnal. Of course there are always exceptions to every rule, (especially in fishing)LOL. I saw a 10 year old girl catch a 31" Eye at Cherry Creek on a red/white daredevil with salmon eggs hanging off the hook ??? There is just no justice in this sport!
