Looking at a job opportunity in Grand Junction. How far would I have to travel for some walleye fishing? Have to consider all of the important pros and cons after all ;D
I live in grand junction area. (I live in fruita to be exact.) You would only have to travel approximately 35 minutes for a quality walleye fishery, Juniata Reservoir. It has good numbers of walleyes in the 13-20" range, and some bigger. It also has big rainbow trout, nice smallmouth bass, and the occaisioinal big largemouth. It is the upper lake. If you need patterns on it or any information on it I am the king of fishing that lake IMO, I rarely get skunked there and a lot of people get skunked there.
