I use this documentary as an example of fighting for a cause........I believe we need people to become advocates who stand behind preserving our natural environments......... imagine what BC's salmon situation would look like if someone hadn't tried to raise the public 's awareness......... I hope you find this video interesting if nothing else....

I don't believe in alarmist theory... I believe in conservation, not blind preservation.

Most of the people here don't believe in fighting for causes... No matter how good the cause. Hmm Fraser river BC, Salmon dying in 2009.... The one with the tailings dam failure last year. Damn alarmists...

The mining disaster on the Fraser river in Aug last year dumping billions of gallons of toxic waste just as the Sockeyes were getting ready to hit the river surely didn't help the situation.
In Homer AK most of the feeder Kings come from the Fraser and the last several years has been exceptional. Local Kings have been in a major decline though to the point the entire Kenai river is closed to King Salmon fishing for the whole year.
