Hey guys I FINALLY CAUGHT A FISH ON A FLY ROD, im so happy it was a 17 inch brown trout on a mosquito

hehe it was nice but i got my fish mixed up, i caught two one was 15 inches the other 11.5' the 17 inch was on a lure thanks though its alot different with all the drag difference

I know the feeling -- congrats. I had been a bait fisherman for forty-plus years (well, bass lures sometimes, and salt-water lures, but for trout, always bait); then I sat with my fishing buddy for a couple of hours, my bait sitting ignored in the water, while he caught half-a-dozen with a bubble and fly. That converted me. No more bait for me. And those mosquitos are good things; almost always gets some fish's attention. Keep at it! (By the way: where was this, if you don't mind saying?)
