Finally got motivated to hike 5 miles up to the lakes.I have a buddy that wanted to see some Greenback cutts.Perfect conditions for a trek into the high country,no rain or lighting and very few people.(none fishing)Only had a few hours to fish and ended up catching five,my buddy got skunked.He tried the flyrod while i used roostertails and 1/8oz kastmaster.A couple of years ago i could'nt keep the fish off my hook,but i guess these alpine lakes change year to year.All in all a great day and some much needed exersize.

That is a beautiful fish. It even has a stripe...sort of like a rainbow. Definitely one of the prettiest fish I've seen in a while.

It's Woodland Lake, it's out of Nederland,head to Eldora ski area and drive back to the old mineing town of hessie.There are four different basin lakes that have trails to them.You climb about 2000 ft in that five miles.Its no secret spot,lots of boulderites,but very few fishing.Great day hike!

I've been out there before. I took the dogs a few times to Lost Lake. Can you take dogs to Woodland, and does anyone know if Lost has any fish? I haven't been there since I started fishing.
Thanks Lynmack, I'm definatly going to head up there soon! 8)

It takes up no more space since they are still hosted from that link... The easiest way for you to see is to simply click edit or modify and see what I did to your post to make it show the picture, it will be a little tag.
See if this works:
Code:

The "tag" works too. I actually like this code better because it puts the whole picture on for ya so viewers don't have to click on a link to open up the pic.

Code:
<img src="[url]http://tinypic.com/6pnhgi.jpg"[/url] alt="Image hosted by TinyPic.com">
By the way, thanks Epic.... I never knew what that "insert code" button does.  :p

Now I can finally put it to use.
