Wade into waters in front of private shoreline and fish the water in front of the private shoreline?

You can navigate the waters in the state...But, you aren't allowed to touch the ground beneath them...ie.. get out of your raft and fish. The ground is owned by the landowner..There may even be exceptions to what is a navigatable water..

In Colorado I believe the land owner also owns the bed of the river/lake/pond/etc. Which essentially means it probably would be trespassing. I guess there are interesting situations presented by this though, like in the case of one side of a river being private and the other side accessible/wadeable.

depends alot on where the property line is. if the shore line is the property line it might be legit. but if the property line is out in the water somewhere, thats another story

in colorado that statement is not always true, you can easily be tresspasing while wading depending on the property lines
