Fished at the outlet today. Smelled a skunk but pulled out a 7" walleye. solid foot of ice at the outlet, drove around a lot and found much thinner ice on the north side.

Anyone here fish Jackson? its a big lake and I'd say there were 10 or fewer other guys there, just thinking about whether or not to try it again.

lots of carp and shad in thurr. they also stock it with lots of bobos.

Thanks Dave. The 2015 Survey gave me a different idea about the lake, did see a bunch big dried up carp on the shore, probably still it a couple more tries when I can spend more time

Nice pup and they DO put a **** ton of walleye in there, but I have not tried it myself in years.

That is my first Dallas and Albow and pistoldog thanks for the compliments, I just wish he'd had a better day. I'll try once more with a vest on him but if that doesn't make him more comfortable he'll have to stay home, I think it was close to 50 but he was shaking after about 45 minutes. Maybe he felt/heard things that I couldn't

I take my yellow lab all the time with me, he has just as short hair. I bought a dog bed that is waterproof just to keep him off the ice, other than that he plays and enjoys fishing
