I have never really jigged before and can't seem to find much information on techniques to jig from shore. So if anyone is experienced, if they would be willing, to share a little wisdom that would be awesome. Thanks.
I snap jig a lot from shore for walleye. I throw blade baits, Krocadiles and 4, 5" flukes on jig heads. On spoons I have found if you go over a 1/4 oz they fall like a rock instead of flutter!!!
My second biggest eye was 14 lbs and came on a blade bait from shore! Try to find places where deeper water comes shallow close to shore. The inside cup where a point meets shore is a great spot to jig!
