Went out for a couple of hours this afternoon. My first time here. All I caught was the skunk. Saw a massive school of carp and a guy catch one stocker bow. What a dump! Garbage everywhere. Picked up what I could but didn't make much difference. Anyone ever do any good here? It looks like it could have some potential. Any tips would be appreciated.

I've caught a few prett nice smallmouths on topwaters out there and last year I got quite a few stocker trout. They stocked that last week. I was watching DOW stock another lake on Monday or Tuesday of last week and was talking to the lady doing the stocking. She told my they put 2000 trout in Baker the same day.

As far as the trash - I'd have to agree with you. It seems like most of the people who go over there just don't care about cleaning up after themselves. Really ticks me off!

thanks very much! I took a road around but it leads to someones drive way. I wanted to try it but wasn't sure how to get in but it was getting dark and still had to go home and eat dinner. Is there large mouth there? If so hows the fishing and what to use?

That is Jim Baker but the entrance is actually off of Tennyson. Take 64th to Tennyson and turn south. The entrance is on the east side just before the RR tracks.
