Took daughter, her husband and his father to JM yesterday. JM didn't disappoint. Got there about 10:00 and left ~ 4:30. We were pushed off the lake by one heck of rain storm. Caught whites, wiper, striper, sunfish and large mouth. Ended up with a total of 222 fish. Caught a bunch of them on top water. One of the feeding frenzies we found lasted over 1 hour. 1" shad were thick and all the fish were targeting them. Biggest fish was ~ 3 lbs - striper. Worth the long drive...

Fished it from a boat. But you could fish it with a yak - between the launch and dam we had 150 fish and then decided to try the tressel. Ran over there - fishing was also good. That 1/2 mile between ramp and the dam, you could spend the whole day there and kill 'em. Should say there were only 12 boats on the lake yesterday - counted them in parking lot. 1/2 were water skiing.
