Went down to JM Res over the weekend. Water level is low but there's still alot of surface area. Water temp was 51 and weather was in the high 60's with 10 MPH winds. Wipers are starting to feed on the dam and saugeyes are getting active. Sorry no pics. We did pretty good for wipers using Sassy Shads and cuaght most of our saugeyes using minnows under a bobber. I probably caught around 20 saugeye fry in the 6" mark. These little guys are everywhere. Minnows wasters in my opinion. It was still fun. Almost forgot about the cats. They're getting active as well. We caught a few 3-4 lbers using shad and crawdads on the bottom. The park ranger said we were the only ones who had stringers out. I think he wants to post the info because he came running out of his car when my buddies pole was bent in a 90 just to see what it was. That's when he noticed our nice white and gold stringers. GL all and keep up the reports. The more the better.
