Went out to Waterton yesterday after work. Killed em on some green woolly buggers and ant patterns. No real hatches, sporadic pmds, but not enough to make the fish rise. Red ant patterns close to banks produced a few nice(for waterton) browns. Also noticed an increase of hoppers in the area. Shouldn't be too much longer before they are out in force. On a side note i also got a visit from a friend while walking down to the river off the road. The beautiful Western Rattlesnake made his presence known with a quick buzz, and a slither into the bushes. Great to see these guys still around.

We went up to the Martsen diversion dam. 4 miles up. The water was still a little off color, but the flows were at about 130cfs, which is almost perfect. Little high, but we did well.
