I was just wondering, if maybe we could make the Fishing Reports section only readable by users. Weve said this a million times i think you even stepped in and said so yourself. I was just wondering what we could do to make that happen. I think maybe if we changed the off topic and Fishing Reports being able to be seen by non users. Im sure this is old news, I just thought I should bring it up again. Sorry for the rant. This site is AWESOME, I just think alot of us dont like our posts being seen by hundreds of people who are non users. Thanks for hearin me out on it, its just been something on my mind for a while.

I was a "lurker" for a long time before I became a user. I would have became a user from the start if I knew registering was free (as most webites as great as this usually have a fee). Didn't realize it was free until I finally registered. Much like the posting pictures thread stays up top on the forum, maybe you could post something letting guests know they can register for free.

That was my point, I've looked at membership, who is posting and who is not, there are a lot of people who are sitting on the sidelines either way.
It is nice to get other opinions/participation, especially those opinions that are like my own. ;D ;D ;D

If you make this accessible to only magazine subscribers, then that defeats the purpose of a free forum. Dont do that. I dont subscribe and I wouldnt subscribe to just come back to this site.

My thought was since there are people who would like a forum that is not available to "guests" maybe Ken or Don could create a seperate forum. It doesn't really matter to me, but it would be nice if some of the guests would share some info or at least trade stories rather than just finding out where the fish are biting.TimberlineArcher said:

I think Ken and Don should charge a one time fee that makes you a member plus you get the mag for one year and a hat. Even better, a PATCH!!!! This would get rid of the abusers and keep the faithful members. At least offer a trial membership for 30 days to let others know what they would be missing out on. This is a capitalistic country is it not?
