I fished again last night. This time I stuck around a little later and fished as the sun was going down because I wasn’t in a rush. Once the sun went down behind the mountains the bite was on. It was trout after trout after trout. I lost count of how many I caught. Got a good mix of cutties and bows. I got them on a small jerk and a crankbait. It was awesome. I didn’t manage to get a pic of the largest trout. I got it to the shoreline and got my hands on it but it got away when I was trying to hold onto it and get my phone out. It was a beaut but they were all nice fish. I can’t wait to go back this fall. It’s a cool spot and there was literally no one there. I’m sure there’s some toads in there based on what I’ve been catching.
