Hello All,

I'm looking to see if any kokanee's are running/spawning yet and some suggestions/times/places for them to run for snagging?

I have a decent snagging rig but haven't had a chance to use it yet, as I keep missing their spawns.

Thanks!

Ah, the crowds, the weighted lures whizzing by your head, the fights-does it get any better than snagging season.

Snagging is for LOSERS.

Although I am pretty good at it-

Dead half rotted out salmon, yummy! Early fish can be ok yet. Yeah a remember the good old days at 11 mile, if you waded out lead would fly over your head fun!

II Mile used to put all the kokanee salmon in at the boat ramps-I've heard they now spread them out all over the lake so theres not a big concentration at the ramp when they come in for the false spawn. Thats what I've heard anyway.

And yes, there have been fights and crossed lines and trout and pike getting snagged. Let us know how it goes.

Slayer-We're all good at something that isn't worth being good at. :)
