Despite the wind yesterday afternoon I headed up to the lake. Wind was howling (30mph+ at times). Anchor wouldn't hold so I decided to head to the up wind side of the lake, threw out the drift socks and drifted the length of the lake a few times. Caught 30+ perch, some slimmers, and a baby pike. Perch were all decent size (8-12"), kept the first 10 for tacos and let the rest go. It was pretty relaxing, I just tied on a 1/8oz jig head, put a 3" gulp minnow on it and let it drag along the bottom. Had fish on both rods at times. Here's 2 of the bigger ones I kept. Good eats...:biggrin1:

Sounds like a good RG day. I always quit a month early there because of low water at the ramp. You using a carry in boat or is the ramp still open?
