Last year we talked about an award for the first to ice fish. How about the last person this year to do it (and stay dry). Where could one still do it?

i bet the high lakes are still solid especialy the north slope ones

The lakes on Guanella Pass come to mind. 12,000 feet plus. I'm getting bored fishing "normally" lately,maybe I'll try it.

Aaaah Yes! The DARWIN AWARD!!!! I don't think Colorado Fisherman gives that one out though

I'm sure you can rent one of those red float suites the fire dept uses to resuce people who fall thru thin ice. ha ha Let it go till next year guys. Its not worth it.

Ice Fishing in the off season.
Where do we draw the line on what is called Ice Fishing?

I was out the other day. Big Glass lots of ice, etc. Now that's what i call Ice fishing in the off season. 8)

I see a bet ;D Slayer what do you think about North Crestone Lake? Think it still has ice? Ha ha ha...
