A word of caution-it is almost always windy down there-don't know why but can't count the times I had to get off the lake by 10. With a float tube that should be less of a problem. Pike in Martin, tiger muskie in Horseshoe. Decent bass fishing.
Not far down the road is Trinidad res-its a better lake for trout and bass (large and smallies) and has walleye also. Only about 40 miles away. Some really nice campgrounds on the north end of the lake. You would likely do better there.
