so is it legit to drive on the ice at delany butes

was that this year if not what time of year was it and how thick was the ice

yea they let you drive out there at your own risk and that fish was caught last march, the ice was about 30 inches thick with about a foot of snow on it, we didn't drive out there all the time, alot of the time we took my 4 wheeler out.

I wish all of the little fish I caught were that size! Lol. Great catch man! Hope to see a pic of one of those 8 pound browns out of there this year!

This is a picture of a S Delaney bow taken in 7' of water.   He was 24" long and fat. My fishing partner caught him on a tube minnow.   I caught one just like him last year on N Delaney but can't find the picture.

nice fish, that side of south that you are fishing has some quality fish in it, looks like last weekends weather up there, we were up there last weekend, fished north and south some.
