A friend of mine is feeling the crunch from all the big stores, he is going to have to give up his tackle business if it doesn't pick up this year.

His bait business probably will survive but he needs our help, It's Outlaw bait in Colorado Springs. I am not involved in anyway with this business. I'm only telling fellow fisherman the small man is getting eaten alive by the walmart type's.

I have been buying my bait from him for 11 years, directly and indirectly. Mikinaak  8)

Absolutely no help area is always a mess, and does not even have tackle that pertains to the area.

I'll try to stop down there when I go to eleven mile.

Which leads me to ask, are there any good bait/tackle/equipment stores in south metro DTC area in denver?

When I lived down there I used to go to Uncle Milty. Is he still around? ??? I used to go to All Pro too, but I know they are gone :'(

I went to a pet supply store today and found that you can get worms, mealworms, crickets, and wax worms for something like $3 for 50. Its called Pet Ranch and is over off of Independence and 58.

Does Louise know this? is it an employee, husband, friend?

Cuz if I go there and feel that way too, I may never go back, First impressions are big, and friendly helpfull are the key for the little guy to keep it going.
If I want to be ignored, or abused, I'll just go to Wal-Mart, or Gander Mountain.

If anyone knows her, and is brave should mention something to her about this.

...kinda funny...he has always been more than helpful to me...in fact I was in there Tuesday and he helped me find some stuff...had to call him back this morning because I thought I left my sunglasses...he looked around but unfortunately they werent there...I think he is more the quiet and shy type...maybe not the best for customer service...he told me Louise's mom had been sick and recently passed away...so if you go in there dont say where have you been?!...so that she will probably be working more...

of business because of big stores and 1 accident,and its hurting the future fisher person because if you dont know they wont go.
I got to Outlaw all the Time!!!!He helpeed me with my boat,and is the best at letting me know whats going on in the area.I will and other should continue to buy bait and tackle form OUTLAW its part of what make fishing great.
