Fished south end from a boat for a couple of hours sat. mid-day. Saw a few nice largemouth cruising the wood. Caught one on a 4" weenie worm, unweighted, and the other on my recently completed 8wt with a #6 blk/olive wooly bugger. Actually casting for a carp and about a 2 1/2 lb bucket mouth swiped it out from in front of the carp. What a blast. Not as crowded as I expected for the holiday weekend, but maybe the no wake keeps some of the pressure down. Still no luck on the eye's, or wiper, and everyone else I talked to reported about the same.

Good report...thanks...I have been wondering about there...I love that lake since it is no wake...there isnt any camping so it isnt too bad...I always see tons of fish on the fish finder...getting them to bite is another story...my friends that go with tell me I need to get my fish finder out of screen saver mode that has all sorts of bogus fish all over it!...Lonetree is a tough nut to crack...
