Hit the St. Vrain again today and it was great. Brookies biting all over. Ended up with three and 1/2 (one jumped ship once removed from water) Need a net for father's day I guess. Biting on flies, jigs, and trout colored panther martin with a fly. Talked to one guy who said golden ponds were great; alot of trout and landed a 25" bass with a worm.

a 25" BASS??????????  that's about 7.5 pounds!  hope to see a pic of that big hawg!
A 25" Bass has the potential to be a lot more than 7.5 pounds, especially this time of the year when bass are filling up, getting ready to spawn. The state record was 11 pounds and only 22 inches, and the world record was 23 pounds and 29 inches.

Not saying this bass is as heavy as either of them, but 7.5 pounds would be light for a 25" bass.
