here is the story. first it wasn't mine, it was my fishing buddy's. he has a dog that goes crazy when anyone catches a fish, so my friend tries to unhook a short eye overboard and as he was releasing a fish he had just gotten the hook out and the dog knocked the rig overboard. the spot is known to a few friends and all have a waypoint on itso there may be 3 or 4 boats on it at any time, the spot is about 50 feet by 75 feet, or you could say very cozy. it took 2 weeks for someone to hook it. my friend is very happy to get it back , he even went out and bought a les expensive replacement rig but it just isn't as well trained as the old one. the vet says his old dog only has about 6 months to live so he didn't scold him to much he says his next dog will be trained better

Glad he got it back. That story could very well happen in my boat. And I think there are some dogs that you just can't train (or don't want to train) that out of.

My dog is a TERRIBLE fishing dog. And a very good hunting dog.
