If you want to make your voice heard, please attend the anglers roundtables that the Colorado Division of Wildlife will be holding in your area, if they haven't already held it. Please speak out agaisnt the scented/salted plastics law! A good technique to debate with them is to use their strategic plan against them. In this case, they are minimizing fishing opportunities by doing this. Particularly warmwater fisheries. Although, you guys on the east slope are not nearly as devastated by the rule as us on the west slope, because our best warmwater fisheries (excluding the yampa) are flies and lures only. Nothing gets done bitching about it on the internet, except getting groups organized. So get a group organized, have a common cause, and go to the roundtables!!!
For those of you in the Grand Junction area, our roundtable is Wednesday, the 29th of March. It is NOT Tuesday like Dave Buchanan said in his article today.

yup the entire gunnison. The section above blue mesa open to bait, the part below blue mesa dam, below all those dams, etc, and also below the confluence of the north fork. That bites. They also had a slideshow at the Delta roundtable that stated pike are a "nuisance" species in colorado's waters They are going to get a nasty surprise at the GJ roundtable.
