Started off visiting McKay. The water is really low at this point so I passed it up. Here's a shot of the little outlet dam which is where I usually go and catch a few crappie. I used to pull em right along those rocks with mini tube jigs.

Then I went over to Webster Lake in Northglenn. I am guessing they either stocked it or there were quite a few leftovers from fall stocking. Caught a few, lost a few. Overall, just a little action to hold me over til I do some real fishing. They really like black colored rooster tails and chartreuse roostertails. Sorry, pics kinda blurry. It's hard to reel in fish, smoke a cigarette and take a picture at the same time..

Nice!

That McKay is in Broomfield/Thornton area right? Picture of Mckay looks kinda like the mini-dam @ the lake across the street from Boyd.

Yeah, McKay is in Broomfield. They stock trout there too nowadays, but haven't heard of any being caught there yet. As for Webster, I checked on the stocking report and it looks like they did stock it. Get your boy out there and catch a few. B-T-W I'm goin out to Union to do a lil prospecting and hopefully catching... Will post if anything eventful happens.
