Generally Pella as the ponds are close to work, but also hit Walden ponds from time to time and have done okay. If I'm itching to get some fly fishing in and don't have time to travel, South Boulder Creek has several spots that fish well, although nothing substantial in size - try around the Bear Mtn Trailhead or 9th St. Bridge. Another I've been to that does hold large bass is Ward Road Pond.....if you don't mind the noisy highway!
There is not many that I know of out where I live in Saudi Aurora. Pretty much bounce between Aurora and Quincy.
Haven't fished Cherry Creek in years.
